Red Devils supporters love the club, but they also hate it. Being the pinnacle of English and arguably European football in terms of the football played, the results on and off the field and the squad as well, Man u have fallen so far behind…seeing their rivals strengthening not just on the pitch but boardroom level as well, I think this summer is gonna be a make or break for the club going forward. With that in mind, the future looks horrible right now…
I can’t believe how slow United are in negotiations deals. We’ve been discussing add ons for almost 2wks and then we have to find an agreement with De Jong on personal terms; only God knows how long. It’s terrible. I can see why Ronaldo wants to leave ; it’s because any serious club should’ve wrapped up this deal within a week of agreement.
And why can’t we negotiate deals simultaneously? We had to hijack Malacia’s deal and waited until Arsenal put in a bid before discussing Martinez and that’s just 3 players. We need at least 5 signings. Its so pathetic and frustrating.

Usually, players use other clubs to get better deals at their current clubs (e.g. when Sergio Ramos was linked to United but ended up signing a new contract with Real). Now it seems Barca could be using United to get De Jong to accept a worse deal.
One thing I’ve learned about transfers, never believe a single word that comes out from presidents CEOs and especially players agents. Everybody has an agenda. De Jong very well may want to stay at Barca but at the end of the day they are in a terrible financial position and may force him out.

While Laporte stresses there is a salary issue for them to fix, shows perhaps De Jong deal delay is causing them a super headache whichever way it ends up BUT definitely they would have loved the big money because they need to move forward.

ONE THING United fans don’t understand is that Frenkie has a deal with Barca until 2026; so even if Barca wants to sell him, Frenkie has the last say, so if he wants to stay, no club can get him… Barca wanted to sell Lenglet, Umtiti and they even got offers but both players rejected the offers on the table which resulted IN them staying at the Club. So the Power is in Frenkie De Jong hand, Barca can’t force a player with 4 more years at the club to go, it’s ImpossiblE!
