Raheem Sterling and Todd Boehly could share a flight to LA together after winger completes Chelsea move

The Daily Mail have really taken a shine to Todd Boehly, the new Chelsea owner.

Perhaps just because he does things in public, unlike Roman Abramovich, giving them plenty to write about.

They spotted him at a concert in London over the weekend, and claimed that he’s going to follow his team back to LA in the next few days – potentially accompanying his first signing at Chelsea, Raheem Sterling.

In classic Mail style, and with a classic tabloid headline, the piece is more focused on the fact that Boehly was “swigging a beer” and “watching Pearl Jam,” but the juicy detail for us was that he could be flying out to the states with his new signing.

The deal has to be done first – but we think the medical will be completed today and Sterling will be announced as a Chelsea player tonight.

Then the pair can fly out to the US together – we wonder what they’ll talk about for 16 hours on the flight?
