Arsenal are close to announcing Gabriel Jesus' move to the Emirates as Richarlison also nears a north London switch whilst Manchester United continue to seek their first summer signing

Arsenal and Tottenham are edging closer to moves for Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison respectively, with announcements imminent.

Manchester United still await their first signing as their chase for Frenkie De Jong continues, whilst defensive targets are now being pursued. Chelsea too are looking to make moves with Romelu Lukaku now gone after his loan to Inter Milan.

Manchester City and Liverpool meanwhile are sitting back having done the core of their business - although the champions could yet lose Raheem Sterling.

Manchester United's strongest lineup for Erik ten Hag first pre-season game vs Liverpool

Erik ten Hag will soon take charge of a Manchester United match for the first time. A 31-man  United  squad flew out from Manchester Airport bound for Thailand on Friday afternoon for the first leg of their pre-season tour where they will take on  Liverpool.  The squad that has been taken on tour is even weaker, however, than the one that concluded United's worst-ever Premier League campaign with a defeat to Crystal Palace in May.
