Three Manchester United players have impressed Erik ten Hag in their first week of training with the manager, and he plans to change the underwhelming group

Next season, ERIK TEN HAG intends to use some of the most promising young players from Manchester United’s academy

By encouraging the grads to take on seasoned first team players, the new manager is anxious to show his dominance over the squad he inherited.

Garnacho is also set to challenge the club's established players for a regular spot in the squad

Some are said to have already made an impression on him, notably 19-year-old midfielder Zidane Iqbal, who made his first-team debut against Young Boys in the Champions League last December.

Along with Hannibal Mejbri, a 19-year-old midfielder, Argentinean winger Alejandro Garnacho, 18, who made two substitute appearances last season, has also made an impression.

Ten Hag has added stringent guidelines to the team’s new “total football” training program.

The Dutchman has been very vocal about his displeasure with backward and sideways passing, as well as with “inappropriate” body language.

Additionally, he has pushed for the elimination of all dressing room cliques.

These are but a few of the initial actions being done to enhance the club.

In the upcoming weeks, United plans to sign at least two more players.

Tyrell Malacia, a left-back from the Netherlands’ Feyenoord, is expected to join the club as its first summer addition for a fee of £13 million.

On Monday morning, the 22-year-old was seen traveling to Carrington to complete the transfer.

After orally committing to join on a three-year contract, Christian Eriksen is anticipated to follow.

After leaving Brentford, the midfielder is currently a free agent.

But despite Tottenham, his old club, showing interest, Ten Hag is said to have been successful in luring him to Old Trafford.

Man United is finally adding some new players during the transfer season, but they also run the risk of losing some important players.

Cristiano Ronaldo has informed the club’s management that if a good offer is made, he wants to leave this summer.

While Chelsea and Bayern Munich are already exploring an offer, the Red Devils have vowed that he would be with the team until the end of his current deal in the summer of 2019.

On Monday morning, Ronaldo was scheduled to start preseason practice AND have a meeting with Ten Hag about his future, but he was forced to postpone his arrival due to personal obligations.

The team has accepted his explanation, and he will still likely spend a few days at United’s headquarters before departing on Friday for a 16-day tour of Thailand and Australia
